Splash is an enjoyable,and entertaining film that gives you a good feeling after watching it.Its about a love story between Tom Hanks and a beautiful mermaid played superbly by the gorgeous Darryl Hannah,with a romantic and heart warming ending that makes you smile.A handsome Tom Hanks falls in love with Darryl Hannah who has a secret about her true identity that the pair go to great lengths to hide.The humour of the movie comes from how Hannah has to learn to adapt to the living of human beings,rather than the life of a mermaid.The special effects of the film are decent enough and you'll be mesmerised by how perfect Darryl Hannah was for the role of the pretty mermaid.The chemistry between Hanks and Hannah makes the film more enjoyable,as it makes the love story convincing and entertaining.Splash is a fun film that anyone who appreciates a good love story that proves 'opposites attract' will adore.

One of the first movies she ever went to see at the theater was Splash (1984). She confessed that after watching the movie, she felt jealous of Daryl Hannah and developed a crush on Tom Hanks. She even said to herself that she could have played the role of Madison better than Daryl Hannah. |
